GIS Day - Visualizing LA County with Mapping

LA County’s GIS Day is free to attend and open to the public. The event is supported by County departments and funded by the County’s enterprise GIS Program. We invite you to join us to learn more about how the County, government agencies, private companies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in  emergency response, social services and administration to make life better in Los Angeles County.

GIS Day is celebrated nationally as part of National Geography Awareness Week. It's a chance for staff, students, and residents from around the County to share what they are doing with GIS, make connections, and to reach out to the public and to other using GIS technologies.
