LA Department of City Planning Downtown Open Studio


This public open studio and design charrette is an opportunity for Angelenos to discuss the future of Downtown.

Join us for a lively week of design workshops, discussion groups, and moderated panel sessions on topics including mobility, urban design, zoning, and economic development. 

DTLA 2040 is the update to two community plans, Central City and central City North, which comprise Downtown Los Angeles. The Downtown Community Plans will describe a collective vision for Downtown's future and include policies, plans, and programs that frame the City's long-term priorities.
